JACOB HIEBERT EITZEN

Jacob H. Eitzen, 75, of linden, A'lberta, passed away on February 5at the linden Nursing Home. He was born in Hillsboro, Kansas, on Septernber 22, 1895, and as a boy, in 1903, came to AI'berta with his fami'ly. They homesteaded in the AcmeLinden area and 'here Mr. Eitzen a'lso estab lished his farm when he grew to maturity.

He came to a'ccept Jesus as hi's rersona'l Saviour ,in his early youth and in 1934 he 'Was baptized upon his confes's'ion of faith and jO'ined the fel'lo'Wship of the church. He was united in. marriage 10 Helen Penner on June 25, 1933. Two sons, Bill and Denver of Acme; three daughters, Mrs. Randy ('Lydia) Chetin of Calgary, Mrs. Allen (Marge) Toews of Linden, and Mrs. Robert (Jean) Thiessen of linden; his wife; and four brothers and two sisters surv,ive ,him.

The funeral was cOnducted from the Linden Mennonite ,Brethren Ghurch, February 9, with Rev. David Epp and Rev. Bill Thiessen ministering.
