GERHARD WILLMS

Gerhard Willms, 30 Maurice Sot., Kitch ener, die,d January 1 in the K-W Hospital after a brief illness. He was 77. Born in Russia on March 11 , 1892, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Willms. He had lived in Kitchener for 17 years. Before moving to the city he had farmed in weMern Canada and Le'amington ~or many years. He w as a member of the K'itchener Mennonite Brethren Church and was long a choir director. For 17 yea rs he directed a chO'ir which sang reg lJ'1'aroIy at the Scott Pavilion, a wing of the K-W Hospital. He was predeceased by his first wife, the former Ag'atila Bosohman, in 1952, three brothers and two s,iste'rs. Surviving are his second wife, ,the fo~mer Mary Wiebe; four sons, Walter, Vi'ctor and Jacob, all of Kitohener, and Georg'e of Windsor; a daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Sylvia) Dyck of Le~ington , Mass,; two brothers and three sis1:ers.
