The Mennonite and The Christian Evangel obituary: 1935 Mar 5 p. 21

Birth date: 1935 Feb 14

text of obituary:

Sara Jean, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Otto, was born Thursday, February 14, and departed this life to be with the angels, Monday morning at 7:30. Besides her parents, she leaves her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Will Giesel and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Otto, and one greatgrandfather, Mr. Michael Diemer of Groveland, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her early departure.

This little crib is empty now

The little clothes laid by;
A mother’s hope, a father’s joy,
In death’s cold arm doth lie.
Go, little pilgrim to thy home
On yonder blissful shore;
We miss thee here, but soon we’ll come

Where thou hast gone before.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Wm. B. Weaver of Danvers, Ill.
