MARTHA KEMPER

Mrs. Martha Kemper, 25, of Calgary p!'lssed away suddenly in early June in a car accident in Alberta.

Martha was born in Steinbach, Manitoba, in 1944 to John and Mary Engbrecht. She spent her childhood there and accepted Christ as her Saviour at the age of seven. At 17 she went to Winnipeg, where she worked at the Manitoba Telephone Company for five years and at various jobs after that. About seven years ago she underwent a serious operation, during which time she renewed her commitment to the Lord.

On November 23, 1968 she was married to Bob Kemper. They resided in Winnipeg till April, after which they moved to Calgary. Shortly before the accident, she shared with her husband the premonition that her life would be short. No one realized how short it was to be. The family is comforted by Amos 3:6, "Does evil befall a city, unless the Lord has done it?" Left to mourn her passing are her husband, Bob, and her parents, Me and Mrs. John Engbrecht.
