ISAAK M. DYCK

Isaak M. Dyck passed away at his home in North Kildonan on January 20, 1969. He was born in 1897 in Crimea, Russia, and in his youth he accepted the Lord as his personal Saviour. In 1923 he married Sara Dyck, and in 1930 they immigrated to Canada. Their first home was in Winkler, Manitoba. In 1933 they came to North Kildonan as some of the first pioneers of that area as well as of the North Kildonan MB Church. In 1946 he and his son Wilfred established Hawthorne Wood works Ltd, where he was active until shortly before his death. During his last few months he suffered greatly, but bore his cross silently before his Lord. He leaves to mourn his wife, one son Wilfred, one daughter Mrs. J. (Olga) Regehr, six grnndchildren, four brothers and two sisters who look forward to meeting him in Glory.
