CATHERINE BUHLER

(Mrs.) Catherine Buhler of Clearbrook, B.C., passed away on October 4 after a lOIig illness. The funeral, was in the East Aldergrove Church on October 9 with Rev.' C.D. Toews offdciating.

Mrs. Buhler' Was bOrn January 27, 1896,in South Russia and accepted Christ as her Saviour as a :girl.' She was baptized and became a member of the church· in 1913; On Octdber 8, 192she married John Buhler, God blessed their union with four chHdren, one of whom died in infancy.

She always showed an active interest in missions and two of her sons entered full-time ministries, Leslie as a missionary to India and Calvin, now the pastor of the Otter Road (Aldergrove, B.C.l·,.Mennonite Brethren Church.

Mrs. Buhler is survived by hel' husband, John; two sons, Leslie and Calvin; a daughter, Vivian (Mrs. John Friesen) of Richmond, B.C.; nine grandchildren; four sisters and one brother.
