NETTIE BERG

Miss Nettie Berg, missionary to the Congo, went to be with the Lord on June 29. She was born in Silberfeld, South Russia, on February 5, 1897, and in 1920 was married to Peter 1. Berg. God blessed their union with a daughter, Nettie, and another who joined the family at the age of two. In 1925 they emigrated to Canada. They lived in Dalmeny, Sask., until 1936 and then moved to Coaldale, Alberta. In 1961, Mrs. Berg's husband predeceased her. Miss Berg returned home to nurse her mother during her last illness. Funeral services were conducted in the Coaldale MB Church on July 5. Her chi I d r e n, grandchildren and many friends shall ever remember her strong faith in the Lord and revere her exemplary life.
