AGATHA HARDER

(Mrs.) Agatha Harder was born in Olgafeld, South Russia, on May 10, 1886. At the age of 14 she received Christ as her personal Savior, was baptised and accepted into the Mennonite Brethren Church.

In 1903 she moved with her family to America, where they settled in Eben feld, Kansas. On July 19, 1910, she was united in marriage witht Rev. John A. Harder, a widower, and became the mother of his seven chIldren. In 1913 the family moved to Borden, Saskatch ewan. The spent 25 years together, until his death in 1935. They were blessed with another eight children of their own, two of whom predeceased her.

She spent the years after 1940 in Hepburn, Sask, in the Dalmeny Home for the Aged, and in the Sherbrooke Nursing Home in Saskatoon. She passed away here on June 1, at the age of 82 years. The funeral was held in the Central Church of Saskatoon on June 5, 1968.

She is survived by six children: three sons, Peter J. Harder, Saskatoon; Jack J. Harder, Vancouver; Henry J. Har der, Saskatoon; three daughters, Mar tha (Mrs. David Neumann) of Clear brook; Agnes (Mrs. Ben Klassen) of Abbotsford; Selma (Mrs. Henry H. Erpp) of Saskatoon; 14 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and seven stepchildren: John Harder, Dos Palos, California; Abe Harder, Barrhead, Alta.; (Mrs.) Tina Friesen, Hillsboro, ~ans.; (Mrs.) Anne Plett, Atwater, Calif.; (Mrs.) Helen Klassen, Mt. Her mon, Calif.; (Mrs) Justina Reddig, Wolf Point, Mont.; and (Mrs.) Susie Warkentin, Virgil, Ont.
