MRS. HENRY A. THIESSEN

Mrs. Henry A. Thiessen (nee Dueck) of. Saskatoon passed away on Easter morning, April 14. Funeral services were conducted in the Central Church of Saskatoon. The Rev. Henry Harder spDke in English and Rev. H. S. Rempel in German. Mrs. Thiessen was born in Russia, April 22, 1899. Here she accepted Christ as her personal Saviour, was baptized and accepted into the Mennonite Breth ren Church. She was married to John Schellenberg, and the Lord blessed their union with four children: JDhn of Clear brook, B.C., Helen (Mrs. J. Doerksen) of Vancouver, B.C., Tina in Russia, and Anna (Mrs. Memebraecker) in Ger many. After nmch affliction and tribu lation, she carne to Canada (B.C.) as a widow in 1948. Here she married Mr J. J. Brown, who deceased ten years later. On May 2, 1964, she married Mr Henry A. Thiessen, and the Lord gav them four short, happy years together She attained the age of 69 years and kept a firm, vital faith to the end.
