— Mrs. Minna Harder, wife of Rev. B. W. Harder of Whitewater, passed away Sunday at the Bethel Deaconess hospital at the age of 73. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday forenoon at the Emmaus Mennonite church, with Walter H. Dyck, in charge, assisted by Ed. G. Kaufman and D. C. Wedel. Mrs. Harder was a pioneer settler at Whitewater, having come there from West Prussia with her parents in 1890. She and Rev. Harder observed their golden wedding anniversary last year. Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two sons, John S. and Bernard of Whitewater; three brothers, Gerhard, John D. and Herman A. Wiebe, all of Whitewater; one sister, Miss Elsie Wiebe of the Bethel home for aged, Newton; and seven grandchildren. Mrs. Harder was a member of the Bethel College church.
