text of obituary:

MARIA SCHULZ

(Mrs.) Mary Schulz was born May 18, 1902 in Kleefeld, South Russia, a daughter of Peter and Eva Wiens. She accepted Christ as her Saviour in her youth and was received into the Mennonite Brethren church. She came to Canada with her parents in 1925.

During her residence in Coaldale Alberta, she married a widower, David Schulz and became the mother to eight children, who in turn accepted her as such. Through this marriage two more children were born into the family. Her husband predeceased her in April 2, 1965.

She was called home to the Lord on November 1, 1967. At the time of her death she was living in Vancouver. She leaves to mourn three sons and six daughters, three daughters-in-law and five sons-in-law and many other friends and relatives. She left this life with joy and hope, grateful to the Lord for the many blessings bestowed upon her, and having perfect assurance that her work on earth was finished.
