— Word has been received here of the death of John J. Becker, for many years a resident of the Halstead community, who died Saturday at Long Beach, Calif. His body was flown to Wichita and the funeral services held at the Halstead Mennonite church Wednesday afternoon conducted by Rev. L. A. Habegger. Mr. Becker was 85 years old.
