DEATH TAKES WIDOW OF THEODORE ROOSEVELT

MRS. EDITH Roosevelt, the 87 year old widow of the 26th president, died Sept. 30, at her home in Sagamore Hills, N. Y.. She was Theodore Roosevelt’s second wife, having been married to him in London in 1886.

She was a member of the Episcopal church in her city, where funeral services also took place.

Now only three widows of presidents survive — Mrs. Woodrow Wilson, Mrs. Calvin Coolidge and Mrs. Franklin D. Roosevelt. Herbert Hoover is the only surviving ex-president.
