JACOB J. BRAUN

Jacob J. Braun was called to his heavenly reward very suddenly on January 28, 1966. His Creator and Saviour called him into his glorious eternal kingdom where he now rests from the strife of life.

He was born on April 9, 1904 in the village of Tiegenhagen, South Russia. His parents were the late Jacob Gerhard Braun and Maria Braun-nee Janzen. In the year 1924 he emigrated from Russia Canada, and in 1925 settled at Arnaud, Manitoba.

In 1927 Jacob Braun accepteid Christ as his personal Sav:iour and in the year 1928 followed the Lord in baptism and became a member of the church. In the same year he married Mary Pauls, a union which the Lord richly blessed.

In 1951, they moved to St. Catharines where they lived for about eIeven years before moving to Kitchener. Brother Jacob Braun has finished the course, he has kept the faith. He had almost reached the age of 62. He enjoyed 38 years of married life. He leaves to mourn his wife Mary, two sons John and Raymond, and three daughters, Tillie (Mrs. Jake Janzen) of Arnaud, Manitoba, Marlies and Linda, both of Kitchener, Ontario, and seven grandchildren. Two sons, Jacob and David predeceased him. May the Lord teach us to number our days.
