— Rev. John F. Schmidt and Rev. Ronald von Riesen went to Arlington, Kans. last Sunday to officiate at funeral services for John Henry Linscheid, 92, one of the early pioneers in that community. He died at his home in Arlington on March 29 after an illness of two weeks, weeks; [sic] services were held at the home and the Arlington Mennonite church, where he was a member. He was born in Austria in 1856 and came to this country in 1882, homesteading in Hodgman county before moving to Arlington. He leaves three daughters, eight sons, 24 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
