— Relatives and friends in the Newton and Whitewater area were shocked to learn of the accidental death of Ed Harms of El Dorado, who was killed near there Thursday evening when his car was struck by a Missouri Pacific train. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Methodist church in El Dorado. He is survived by his wife, the former Minnie Rutschman, two sons at home, a daughter, Mrs. Viola Mae Hulsey, and his parents, Mrs. and Mrs. J. P. Harms of the Whitewater community. A brother, Adolph Harms, resides in Newton. He was 49 years of age.
