10-YEAR-OLD BOY DROWNING VICTIM

Belleville, Pa. — Funeral services were conducted at the Locust Grove Mennonite church on Aug. 27 for Conrad Gaius Yoder, 10-year-old son of Jonas J. and Estella Harshbarger Yoder who drowned while swimming at Greenwood Furnace on Aug. 25. Bishop E. B. Peachey and Rev. John B. Zook officiated at the services.

The boy had gone swimming with a group of friends. After he had been removed from the water, several nurses who happened to be in the vicinity applied artificial respiration, and a pulmotor was used, but to no avail.

He is survived by the parents and a two year old brother, Keith.
