<h3ISAAC BAERG

Isaac Baerg was born in Russia in 1883 and spent his youth and early adult years there. He was married in 1907 to Aganetha Enns with whom he shared 58 years of married life. In 1922 or 1923 he accepted Jesus as his personal Saviour and later was baptized and became a member of the Mennonite Brethren Church. He died suddenly at his home in Vineland, Ontario on Feb. 9, 1965.

Mr. Baerg emigrated to Canada with his family in 1925 and settled down on a farm in the Springstein, Man. area. The family stayed in Manitoba for 12 years until they moved to Ontario in 1937. There Mr. Baerg acquired a fruit orchard and, with his family, continued to farm successfully for many years.

The funeral was observed in the Vineland Mennonite Brethren Church with the pastor, Rev. John Schmidt, and a son-in-law, Rev. John Wall of Winnipeg, serving in the ministry of consolation. He is survived by his wife, three daughters, a son, and a brother.
