— Word has been received here by Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Ewert that Mr. Ewert’s brother-in-law, Dan Langenwalter of Gerber, Calif., passed away at his home there on Friday, Jan. 31. The Langenwalters have many friends here and in the Garden Township community near Halstead, where they resided for a number of years. Mr. Langenwalter has a sister, Mrs. Lehman, residing at Halstead, and Dr. J. H. Langenwalter of Wichita is a brother. Of the immediate family, the widow and a son, Clement Langenwalter and family of Gerber, survive.
