ANTON POGURSKY, 56

Brother Anton Pogursky of Arelee, Sask., was born in Russia on August 25, 1905, and departed this life on the night of April 4th. He came to Canada from Poland in 1930, and settled in farming and later a business in Arelee. He accepted salvation and was baptized in Poland in 1930, and settled in farming joined the M. B. church at Arelee, Sask. On May 21, 1933, he was married to Luba Milashenko. This union was blessed with two children. Brother Podgursky had suffered from a liver ailment for several years. In January of this year he was operated for gall stones and after his convalenscence seemed to be on his way to recovery, when he went to Saskatoon on March 30th. He passed away in the City Hospital. Remaining to mourn are his wife, two children John and Edna, one son-in-law, his mother-in-law, Mrs. John J. Milashenko, one sister, one sister-in-law, two brothers-in-law -and his many acquaintancesand friends.
