MRS. WILLIAM H.UNRUH

Mrs. Carolina (Johnson) Unruh, daughter of Benjamin and Eva Johnson, was born near McPherson, Kansas, on May 14, 1877.

Upon confession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, she was baptized in May, 1892, and became a member of the Canton Mennonite church [This line was printed upside down in the original.] near Canton, Kansas. In later years, upon moving to Newton, she became a member of the Firs Mennonite church of that place.

On December 19, 1893, she was united in marriage with William H. Unruh. To this union were born eleven children, two of whom preceded the mother in death. One great-grandchild also preceded her in death.

Immediate family members mourning her death are her husband, William H. Unruh; six sons, Amel, Carl, Ervin, John and Kermit of California, and Henry of Coffeyville, Kansas.
