TWO YEAR OLD CHILD DIES FROM BURNS

Midland, Mich. — The two year old daughter of Mr. and mrs. Nelson Aeshliman [sic Aeschliman] died here recently as the result of a tragic accident. Mrs. Aeshliman [sic Aeschliman] left the child, Carolyn Sue, in the family's pickup truck while she went into a grocery store, and it is believed the little girl found some matches to play with which ignited her clothes. She was rushed to the Midland hospital with serious burns and lived only a few hours.

Funeral services were held at the home on May 31, after which the body was taken to Archbold, Ohio, and services were held at the Defenseless Mennonite church there on June 1, with Reuben short and Walter Stuckey in charge.
