FARMER ALMOST INSTANTLY KILLED IN FALLING UNDER HAY RACK

LaGrange, Ind. — A large attendance was present at the funeral held here about two weeks ago for John J. Miller, who was almost instantly killed when he fell under a hay rack while putting up hay.

Mr. Miller was in the act of climbing on the wagon when he slipped and fell backwards with a fork in his hand. Becoming frightened, his team began running and the wheels of the wagon passed directly over his body. The injuries Mr. miller suffered were so severe that he passed away with a few minutes.

The deceased was the son of Jacob C. Miller of Oscoda county, Michigan.
