CHILD LEAVES BED TO LOOK FOR MOTHER

Niverville, Man. — An unusual tragedy occurred in this vicinity some weeks ago when the small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Schultz died from exposure as she strayed out of her bed into the snow, evidently in search of her mother. Having left their children at home soundly asleep, Mr. and Mrs. Schultz went to the neighbors, again returning shortly.

Upon coming home and finding one of the beds empty, they traced the footsteps of the lightly clad child through he snow and found her a short distance form one of the farm buildings. The child passed away before medical aid could be reached.
