FUNERAL SERVICES FOR FORMER CALIF. MINISTER HELD AT NAPPANEE, IND.

Nappanee, Ind. — Funeral services for Rev. Emanuel Stahly were held Tuesday afternoon, March 7, at 2:30 o'clock at the Vern Stahly home, Rev. Homer North of the North Main st. Mennonite church officiating and burial was in the Union Center cemetery under the direction of Wright & Son.

Rev. Stahly died at Tulare, Cal., on Feb. 28 of a heart attack. He had lived in Tualre for the past 40 years. He was born in Nappanee and died at the age of 78 years. Two brothers survive, Vern and Charles, both of Nappanee. A service was held in California Thursday afternoon of last week and the remains then shipped to Nappanee, being accompanied by J. O. Crabtree, a close friend, arriving here Sunday night and taken to the Vern Stahly home. — Nappanee Advance-News.

Rev. Stahly was a minister of the Mennonite (Old) church for many years at Winton, Calif.
