SARAH LAPP, FORMER MISSIONARY IN INDIA, CALLED AWAY IN DEATH
The November 11 issue of the Gospel Herald, Scottdale, Pa., gives the following report on the recent death of Sarah Lapp, for many years a missionary in India.
Sister Sarah Lapp, who will be remembered by many of our readers as widow of Bro. M. C. Lapp and as a missionary to India for many years of service, departed this life Oct. 25. Her death reminds one that the ranks of the early workers in India Mission are being thinned out by the Grim Reaper.
The Mission was started in 1899 and Bro. and Sister Lapp entered the field in 1901. She returned to the homeland in 1942. Her record of 41 yeas of foreign missionary service, we believe , is unequaled in the history of our church. She richly deserves the eternal rest to which the Lord has called her.
