PETER P. BULLER

Peter P. Buller of Upland, Calif. was a retired farmer and former resident of Nebraska, who spent 20 years of his life in Southern California with four year intervals twice in Nebraska. He died at home in Upland on July 11, 1964 at the age of 95 years, two months and 25 days. He was the son of Peter D. and Sarah Siebert Buller, born in Alexanderkron, Ukraine, South Russia on April 16, 1869.

At the age of two years his parents moved back to Kleefeld where they had lived before. In May 1879 the family moved to the U.S.A. arriving in the latter part of June and settling in Hamilton County, Neb., two miles southwest of Henderson. In a family of 10 children, he knew the hardships of pioneers.

On June 19, 1889, he was baptized upon the confession of his faith and received into the Bethesda Mennonite Church; he later joined the First Mennonite Church in Upland, Calif.

Feb. 27, 1890, he married Magaretha Epp, daughter of Cornelius and Katharina Tiesen Epp. They were married 61 years, five months, and 22 days. After her death on Aug 19, 1951, he made his home with his children.
