● Elizabeth Janzen, 83, of Hesston, formerly of Goessel, died Aug. 7 at Schowalter Villa. Funeral services were held Aug. 8 at Tabor Mennonite Church, rural Newton, with Orlando Waltner officiating. She is survived by one daughter, Doris Janzen of Goessel; one brother, Otto Unruh of Goessel; and two sisters, Susie Schmidt of rural Newton and Annie Epp of Ferndale, Wash.
