FAIRVIEW MAN SUCCUMBS TO HEART ATTACK WHILE IN FIELD SHOCKING CANE

Evidently having passed away from a sudden heart attack, Henry Schroeder, 72, Fairview, Okla., was found dead in a cane field near his home Tuesday morning, July 30.

Mr. Schroeder was found about one hour after he had gone out to set up some cane shocks.

He had formerly lived int he Hillsboro, Kansas, community before moving to Fairview. He was well known and highly respected in both communities.

Funeral services were held in the Mennonite church in Fairview.
