— Jacob Schlichting, 83 year old resident of Swift Current, Sask., Canada, died there a few weeks ago. For many years Mr. Schlichting had been prominent in community affairs in Halbstadt, South Russia. He emigrated to Canada soon after the Bolshevick [sic] revolution and took part in church work here as long as his health permitted. Funeral services were held at Swift Current.
