text of obituary:
. . .
— At best, life is a great uncertainty. Yesterday the first fatality occurred in the local swimming pool when Forest Fleener, 20-year old Western Union messenger boy, died from shock or heart failure while swimming. According to a report, friends with him thought he was joking when he called for help and he sank to the floor of the pool before life guards arrive. Continued resuscitation efforts of the doctors failed to bring back his life.
