text of obituary:

Irene Albrecht, daughter of Jacob and Adina (Kaufman) Albrecht, was born April 27, 1916 near Marion, S. D., and died in her home near Marion, S. D., July 7, 1931, at the age of 15 years, 2 months and 10 days. She was in usual health, full of life and high ideals. About 4 weeks ago she began to suffer from what the physician termed stomach flu. She responded to medical treatment and improved nicely. But Sunday morning July 5, she became worse. The physician was called and he diagnosed the case as a suffering from kidney and heart trouble. From that time she was rapidly going down and passed away Tuesday morning July 7, at about 7 A. M.

She complained of no pain but always felt so tired. She passed to the Great Beyond without a struggle. Her favorite song that she so often sang or hummed was "My Father Knows it All." She was active in Sunday school and also had an interest in other religious work.

After her graduation from the 8th grade this spring she planned for her future education. Her desire was especially to be of service to mankind.

She leaves to mourn her parents, 2 sisters and 2 brothers, her grandparents and a host of relatives and friends.

She fell asleep with heavenly peace.
Her soul is now at rest.
But yet she lives in realms of light,
With angels and the blessed.

P. J. Albrecht
