Funeral services were held on Feb. 22 at the EMB Church for Helen Fast, 72. She died of cancer on Feb. 18 at the Mt. Lake hospital. She and her husband had been engaged in farming until they moved to town a few years ago. She is survived by her husband, Henry J. Fast, one daughter, one son, and four grandchildren.
