FUNERAL SERVICES

Henry Penner, Corn, Okla.

Funeral services of Mr. Henry Penner were conducted in the M. B. church at Corn Sunday afternoon. Mr. Penner, whose home has been in Fairview for a number of years, as brought to Gaede's sanitarium May 18th, suffering with internal complications. Although he got some relief he did not improve and was soon taken to the home of his children, Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Engel here in Corn, where he remained a short time and was then moved to the A. B. Schmidt home at Bessie where he remained to his end which came Thursday. At one time Mr. Penner and his family lived in this community and later in the Caddo and he is well known here and leaves many friends. Funeral services were conducted by Fred Fruechting of Fairview and Rev. J. F. Duerksen of Corn in the German language and Rev. J. J. Wiebe in the American language. Intement was made at the M. B. cemetery. — Washita Co. Enterprise.
