REV. FRANKLIN U. MOYER

The Rev. Franklin U. Moyer, 93, of Bethel Home for Aged died early Monday, August 31, at the home.

The Rev. Mr. Moyer was born Dec. 6, 1870 in Ridott, Illinois, the son of John and Louise Moyer. He was a retired E. U. B. minister and school teacher.

He was principal at Zimmerdale for two years and at Hesston for six years. He retired from the ministry in 1945.

He was married to Mabel M. Logan, May 30, 1903 in Hesston. She died May 10, 1958 in Newton.

Other survivors include two sons: John L. of San Louis Obispo, Calif.; [the text omitted the name of the other son] two sisters, Miss Ida M. Moyer of Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. F. M. Richard of Ft. Collins, Colo. One brother, Darriel S. of Kansas City, Mo.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Sept. 3, at Petersen Funeral home at 10 a. m. The Rev. Don Bumgarner of E. U. B. Church officiated and burial was in the Hesston Cemetery.
