— Funeral services for Jacob J. Hofer, 73, were held Oct. 11 at Pioneer Hall, Freeman, S. D. A member of the Zion Mennonite church at Bridgewater, Mr. Hofer was active for many years in the Mennonite Aid Plan and also in Sunday school and church work.
