text of obituary:

Agathe Hamm was born in Marienburg, West Prussia, July 26, 1857, the daughter of Peter and Emilie Hamm. She was baptized in 1874 and received as a member of the Heubudner Gemeinde. In 1879 she came to America with her sisters. They came to Nebraska. In 1880 the parents also migrated to Nebraska, but in 1882 they were taken in sudden death. This was a hard blow for the children; however, it led to a rich experience of God's grace. She became so ill in 1889 that the physician gave up all hope. However, God gave her a long period of grace. She experienced the first stroke in May, 1942. While she was an invalid she enjoyed repeating Bible verses and singing hymns. After being an invalid for nine years, she was called home October 29, 1947. She is mourned by two sisters.
