News of General Interest

. . .

— In the Bluffton-Pandora, Ohio community last week two resident farmers, Edward E. Miller, 58, and John G. Althaus, 82, passed to their reward, both after a quite long illness. Mr. Miller had been of considerable service to his neighbors as sorghum mill operator. Mr. Althaus, one of the pioneers of that locality, took a leading part in establishing the township organization and church. Funeral services for the former were held at St. John, and the latter at Ebenezer church.
