ALVIN DALKE, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Dalke, was born February 1, 1896, in Marion County, Kansas, and died March 24, 1944. He was reared on a farm southeast of Goessel. He attended Bethel Academy for two years. He was baptized by Rev. P. H. Richert of the Tabor Mennonite Church. When he moved to Goessel in 1926 he transferred his membership to the Mennonite church there. In 1916 he was married to Helena Becker. He is survived by his wife, Clarence and Otto who are somewhere overseas, and Olga, Herbert and Alvin Junior, all of the home.
