Mrs. Christian J. Stahly. — Anna Hosetler [sic], daughter of Moses M. and Mary Ann (Mehl) Hostetler, was born near Shipshewana, Indiana, August 20, 1872. She passed away very peacefully on July 11, 1936, at Arcadia, California, after an illness of only four days. In early life she united with the Forks Mennonite church, LaGrange County, Indiana, but for the last few years she was a member of the First Mennonite Church of Upland, California. In December, 1891, she was united in marriage with Christian J. Stahly. To this union were born six children, two sons and four daughters. She is survived by her husband, two sons, three daughters, and five grandchildren. One daughter preceded her to the life beyond.

Funeral services were conducted on July 15, 1936, at the Renaker Funeral Chapel, Monrovia, California. Rev William Stauffer officiated. Interment was in Live Oak Cemetery, Monrovia, California.
