text of obituary:

Philip W. Amstutz, son of Daniel and Mary (Geiger) Amstutz, was born April 2, 1881. He departed from this life May 10, 1935, reaching the age of fifty-four years, one month, fourteen days. Upon his confession of faith, he was baptized and received as a member into the St. John Mennonite church, of which he remained a member till the time of his death. On August 4, 1900, he was united in marriage with Kathryn Luginbihl. In October 1910, this union was severed when Mrs. Amstutz was called to her eternal reward. On August 6, 1911, Mr. Amstutz was remarried, united with Ellen Hilty in the holy state of matrimony. Those who mourn the departure of a loving husband, father and brother, are his deeply bereaved wife, six children, six grandchildren, one brother, three sisters.
