text of obituary:

Allebach — Clara Belle Eicher, youngest daughter of the late Rev. Benjamin and Lydia Eicher, was born near Noble, Washington County, Iowa, on February 17, 1875. For several years she has been suffering from high blood pressure and hardening of the arteries, finally resulting in cerebral hemorrhage which cause her death on January 15, 1930. She reached the age of 54 years, 10 months and 28 days.

On May 27, 1894, she was baptized by Rev J. B. Baer, who was at that time travelling evangelist for the General Conference of Mennonites, and became a member of the Eicher church of which her father was pastor for many years. She later had her membership transferred to the Wayland Mennonite church of which she remained a faithful member until her death.

On December 29, 1897, she was united in marriage with Rev. H. G. Allebach who preached for the Eicher Church for some time. This union was blessed with one son, Frederick. Brother Allebach preceded her in death about eight years ago.

Mrs. Allebach was a great lover of good music. For many years she was an instructor of instrumental music in this community. She also took a deep interest in the work of the church and was always a faithful attendant at its services until her illness prevented her from attending.

She leaves to mourn her departure one son, one daughter-in-law, one grandson, six brothers and one sister, and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at the Eicher church on January 17. The funeral was in charge of her pastor, Rev. Elmer Basinger who was assisted by Rev. H. J. Schrag. Burial was made on the Eicher family plot at the Eicher church.
