• Relatives in Kansas received word that Adolf Richert, 80, who grew up in the Goessel community, died recently in Las Vegas, Nev. Since he was living alone, the exact time of his death is not known. Funeral services were to be held at 12 noon on Monday, April 23. Mr. Richert was born March 12, 1893 to Heinrich H. and Helen Schmidt Richert. He married Elizabeth Ann van Horn in 1944, and she died in 1953. Survivors include one brother, Erie of Salinas, Calif., and three sisters, Mrs. Peter G. Boldt of Reedley, Calif., Mrs. W. Unruh of Hillsboro, and Mrs. Peter C. Andres of Elbing.
