Kinross, Iowa. — A crash on Highway 180 near Cardenas in southern Mexico on Aug. 29 claimed the lives of Mrs. Wilford Stutzman, 43, her son Joseph, 16, and daughter Julia Ann, 2, of this community. Mr. Stutzman is pastor of the Salem Mennonite Fellowship, an unaffiliated Mennonite congregation here.
The family consisting of the parents, four daughters and four sons were returning home after spending the summer in work among the Indians at Puenta Gorda, Belize (formerly British Honduras) when their camper crashed into a parked truck. The mother and two children died instantly and the rest of the family was hospitalized at Villa Hermosa.
Burial of Mrs. Stutzman, her son and daughter took place the following morning at Villa Hermosa. Mrs. Stutzman was the former Wava Brenneman of Kalona.
