Car-Truck Collision Near McPherson Fatal For Two, Injures One

McPherson, Kan.—Two persons were killed and a third critically injured Saturday evening, Aug. 4, in a head-on car-truck collision just west at here on US. 56.

The fatalities, both at McPherson were Clarence J. Keith, 40, driver of the car, and a passenger, Darwin W. Culver, 40.

The driver of the semi-truck Jimmy L. Koehn, 31, of Galva, was taken to Wesley Medical Center, Wichita with critical injuries.

Roger Wilson, McPherson County deputy sheriff, said witnesses stated the east-bound truck veered left of center and struck the westbound car head-on.
