• Funeral services for Herbert R. Kaufman, 66, were held Sunday afternoon at the First Mennonite Church of Moundridge, Rev. James Gingerich, the pastor, officiated. Mr. Kaufman died May 17 at Mercy Hospital after a Iong illness. He farmed in Harvey County most of his life. Survivors include a son, Jim of Moundridge, a daughter, Marilyn, at Denver; his father Andrew at Moundridge, four brothers, Clinton and Waldo, both at Moundridge, Clements of Gainesville, Fla., and Alvin of Baton Rouge, La., and one sister, Linda at Moundridge. His wife, the former Helen Hess, died in 1961.
