• Edmund W. Goering, 76, a retired farmer and businessman of Moundridge, died March 15 at Mercy Hospital there. He had been a guest at Schowalter Villa in Hesston for the past 17 months. Funeral services were held Saturday forenoon at the Eden Mennonite Church, with Rev. Walter Neufeld in charge. Surviving are his widow, the former Hilda Schrag; three sons, Harlan of Madison, Wis., Edward W. Jr. of Moundridge, and John of College, Alaska; his step-mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Goering of Moundridge; five grandchildren; seven brothers, Benj. B. J., Martin M., Arnold A., J. Hobart, and Lloyd V., all of Moundridge; and four sisters, Mrs. Edith Krehbiel of McPherson, Mrs. Martha Smith of North Newton., Mrs. Verna Flickinger and Mrs. Elizabeth Mae Crabb, both of Moundridge.
