Rev. Amos Brunk, 79, died on Jan. 11 in the Stratford General Hospital. Surviving are one son, three daughters, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. His first wife, the former Mattie Nafziger, died in 1930, and his second, the former Mary Gerber, in 1957. He farmed in Ellice Twp., retiring to Poole in 1959. He was an ordained Mennonite minister and served the Poole Mennonite Church for 25 years (1940-1965). A memorial service was held from the Poole Church on Jan. 14. Rev. Amsey Martin officiated.
