MRS. ABE E. PETERS

Mrs. Agnes Peters, 76, died Sunday, Dec. 3, at the Kiowa County Memorial Hospital, Greensburg, Kan., after a short illness.

Born Jan. 27, 1896 at Inman, she was married to Abe E. Peters on March 19, 1916 at Inman. They lived north of Minneola from 1916-1918, then came to Kiowa County where they farmed south of Greensburg. They moved into town in 1960.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Greensburg; Golden Age Fellowship; Garden Club; Hobby Club.

Survivors include the widower; sons, Arnold and Bennie, both of Greensburg; daughters, Mrs. Helen Klassen, Meade, Mrs. Reubena Milne, Reno, Nev., Mrs. Mildred Bauman, Kerby, Ore.; brother, William Kornelsen, Minneola; sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Friesen, Meade; 15 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church; Rev. James Poland and Rev. Franklin Shannon. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, Greensburg.
