Miss Sara Duerksen, 82, a life-long resident of the Goessel community, died Jan. 5. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at the Miller Funeral Home in Goessel and at the Alexanderwohl Church, with Rev. Ronald Krehbiel officiating. Miss Duerksen leaves two brothers, Daniel of Route 2, Newton, and Rudolf of Route 2, Canton.
